We asked Patrick five questions to get to know a little more about him and his time with Gaggle. Here’s what he had to say:

What are three words to describe Gaggle?

  • Dedicated: Gaggle is dedicated to its mission to ensure the safety and well-being of students and schools by leveraging people and technology.
  • Passionate: We're passionate about making sure all schools are safe and all students get the mental and emotional help they need.
  • Genuine: Unlike some competitors, we're not just looking to make money—we stay focused on our mission and vision.

What drew you to Gaggle?
I actually fell into my position here. I was looking for a career change, and a friend on the Safety team introduced me to the company. What kept me at Gaggle was the mission. I moved from the Safety team to the Sales team because I wanted to go out and share what we were doing to reach more school districts.

What have you gained from working at Gaggle?
A perspective on our youth and our education system that I would’ve never had otherwise. I think it will make me a better dad and a better member of the community. I think ignorance is bliss for a lot of parents and educators, and we face those hard realities—we don’t shy away from them. Working here has given me the confidence and the bravery to face those difficult conversations and ideas that are challenging our kids today.

What is your proudest moment at Gaggle?
The year I received the up-and-comer award for sales is up there! I’m also incredibly proud of an account I was able to close last year—a larger district where students are now safeguarded in the digital environment. I presented to the entire cabinet and, despite some initial pushback, was able to get them on board and show them that Gaggle was the right thing to do for their district and students.

What is your favorite memory at Gaggle?
The Christmas party after my daughter was born—it was the first time my wife and I had gone out in about 10 months!

After spending the majority of his adult life with the company, Patrick noted that Gaggle feels like home. “It’s hard to envision being anywhere else,” he said. “It’s a mission I really believe in and I love what I do.”
